Freedom Org is a community-rooted organization advancing community and economic development, historic and cultural preservation, agricultural equity, housing stability, workforce pathways, and flood resilience in Princeville and surrounding Eastern North Carolina communities. Freedom Org's work is grounded in the belief that historically underserved communities should have the tools, partnerships, funding, and institutional capacity necessary to define and implement their own future.

What we stand for:
Freedom Org is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt Community Development Corporation with a mission to invest in disinvested communities. Our vision is to create self-sustaining communities. We achieve this by providing solutions that promote equitable communities, harnessing the collective power of the community through Historic Preservation, Community and Economic Development, and Agriculture & Food Systems.
